Hello. My name is Deas Plant. If you are interested in Personal, Spiritual or Psychic Development, this book may well have at least a part of what you are looking for. I have had a strong interest in Personal and Spiritual growth for around thirty years. In that time, I have gathered a large collection of 'tools', 'tricks', methods and ideas for helping people of all ages and backgrounds to grow and progress. I wrote The Simple Little Development Book to enable more people to have access to this accumulated knowledge than just those that I could meet face-to-face.
There are tools for building self-esteem, for dealing with emotional pain, to help with meditation and relaxation, to help correct 'perceived' faults and build on good points, even some to help with breathing. Other aspects of the book deal with Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Clairsentience (Clear sensing.), Spiritual Healing (Laying on of hands.), readings and messages and some thoughts on whether or not to charge or accept payment for your services.
I have also presented some thoughts on the nature and location of 'Mind' and 'Spirit' which may just give rise to a little debate on the subject. If they do, well and good. No-one, scientist, medical person, religious scholar or lay person has ever been able to explain the nature or location of the 'mind' to me in almost thirty years of enquiring, nor even to give any idea about where to start looking for the answers. I can't prove any of my ideas either but they are not presented as proven fact, only as food for thought.
All of this has been presented as simply as I am able to do it. People have been benefitting from using these tools and ideas for a long time. I have been gathering and presenting them for people to look at since 1979. In that time, I have met a number of other 'teachers' who have used a lot of long words, complicated phrases and complex concepts to try to get their message across to people. This approach does not seem to work very well. Those who teach in this way seem to be "intoxicated by the exuberance of their own verbosity" (Borrowed, with adaptions and apologies, from the movie, "Genevieve".) and oblivious to the fact that their students are often bewildered by the almost ceaseless flow of long words and high-flown ideas with little practical application. Because I had seen so many people left shaking their heads in puzzlement at the complexity of the teachings of these "intoxicated"ones, I set out to write a book that was clear, concise, comprehensive and, most important of all, easy to read and understand.
What I have presented in this book is by no means all there is to Personal, Spiritual or Psychic Development. Indeed, there are so many ideas, beliefs and different ways of doing things that I doubt there would be enough time in one lifetime to encompass them all. I have simply chosen those things that, in my experience, have been of the greatest use to the greatest numbers of people. This knowledge does not belong to me and I lay no claim to it. Like all knowledge, it belongs to the Universe. I have simply gathered it, put it in some sort of order and presented it as simply as I could for the use, as they see fit, of all who choose to take the time to read it.
As with any such writings, there will always be those who disagree with what I have written, either for the content itself or for the way I have presented it. This is fine by me. It would certainly be a dull old world if everybody thought alike and I would be one of the first to defend their right to disagree. I am not presenting the contents of this book as
PROVEN fact because I can not lay it out before you and say without fear of contradiction, "There it is, proved beyond any question or shadow of doubt." All I ask is that each person who reads this book do so with an open mind and a willingness to at least entertain the POSSIBILITY that what I have presented for their consideration may have some use somewhere in their life or in somebody else's life.
Yours in Truth, Love and Simplicity,
